ITT Microwave

AES Microwave Systems technologies have applications in:

Radar, EW, SIGINT, and SATCOM

          •   FPGA-based DDS Technology
          •   Waveform Generators
             Synthesizers
          •   Upconverters and Downconverters

Waveform Generator Technology

DDS-based waveforms include

FM (linear and non-linear chirp), AM, PM, QAM, Pulsed RF
On-board "Waveform Sequencer" allows generation of arbitrary waveforms combining multiple  modulation techniques
•  High speed FPGA supports waveform changes at intervals (nanoseconds)
Supports hardware and software triggering providing pre-programmed, low-latency, high speed waveform performance
•  Waveform Sequencing Programmability

DDS Synthesizer Technology

Maintains performance over multi-octave frequency ranges

     •  20 MHz to 20 GHz frequency coverage
Frequency switching as fast as 200 nsec
     •  SFDR up to -80 dBc (frequency range dependent)
     •  Sub-hertz tuning
Phase Coherence: F1 to F2 to F1 coherence
