In addition to offering exceptional spurious-free dynamic range and output phase noise, the DDS engine allows our synthesizers to deliver industry leading switching times anywhere within the operating frequency range. And because of our software-based DDS approach, we can easily support requirements for custom waveform generation, phase continuous or phase coherent output, and precise control of the start, stop and repetition rate of output signals. With this enabling DDS technology, our engineers were able to develop an innovative synthesizer architecture comprised of multiple expander slices. Each expander slice increases the frequency range of the previous slice. An output module is the final slice providing the synthesizer output interface, along with incorporating any specific customer requirements with regard to output power, modulation, etc. By carefully selecting and combining the appropriate expanders for the job, we can tailor a solution to your price/performance requirements.
